Weather
We did brave the cold {pre-snow} for the OSU game, which we unfortunately lost, but the temperature wasn't as bad as even we thought it would be! Mid-November in Oklahoma does NOT usually mean snow. However, Sunday, we got a good {early for Oklahoma} dose of it. Not too bad in our area, but it did make you want to cuddle in a blanket and do nothing {or in our case, finish a few house projects and THEN cuddle up and do nothing}.

House
If it is snowing, we are usually doing something to make use of the time {and make sure Andrew doesn't get stir crazy!} We started marking things off our "To Do by Thanksgiving" list and WOW! We really have finished a lot. And done some things we wanted to do instead of had to do. Which is extremely nice. One project we worked on this weekend? My much anticipated clipboard project. These are a couple of pictures of the process, which we didn't actually finish, but we do have a few layers of stain on them {and crossing our fingers that they get much darker like our usually-trusty-stain-color usually is}.

Other Progress
We did go out on a date on Saturday which was fantastic. We got up, went to Tulsa and ate at Andrew's favorite taco place, went Christmas shopping, and generally strolled and killed time. It was lovely. We also got to nap on Sunday, got up and went to Sunday evening Mass, and came home to do nothing again. Which was so well deserved, unexpected, and pleasing.
Thanksgiving is almost here!
